Brand and identity: FOLO-UP independence

FOLO-UP is an independent digital service operated by Irelco Ltd. We are not part of the UK Government, the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS), local Trading Standards services, the Ladder Association, consumer organisations, online marketplaces or any other public authority or regulator.

Our mission is to support consumer protection by providing tools, data and reporting systems that help the public, regulators and industry understand and reduce risks from unsafe products sold online. We work to complement, not replace, official enforcement and regulatory activity.

We use a clear, accessible design approach inspired by best practice in public sector digital services in order to improve readability, trust and usability for the general public. This visual style does not create or imply any official status or endorsement by government or regulators.

Use of the GOV.UK Design System

FOLO-UP uses selected components from the GOV.UK Design System, including layout patterns, typography, colour palettes and CSS elements. These assets are published under the MIT Licence, which allows reuse and adaptation in public and private projects.

The following design elements from the GOV.UK Design System may be used by FOLO-UP:

FOLO-UP does not use the GOV.UK crown symbol, the GOV.UK logo or any restricted government branding. These elements are legally protected and are not reused in this service.
